Dates
Some of our projects run all year round and others only between specific
months (see below). Within those months, volunteers are welcome to choose
their own start and finish dates. Once the month(s) of travel have been
decided, suggestions may be made by our staff as to a specific day, so
as to coordinate the arrival of our volunteers.
The shortest stay we advertise is a period of one month, which allows
time to learn the work involved and make a significant contribution towards
your project. For those who have more time, two or three months are recommended.
This way you really get a chance to settle into the work and take part
in all the extra activities. Extra responsibilities come with time and
if you are looking for work experience or academic research towards a
degree or dissertation, then this is the option to take. For anyone who
wishes to take part for less than a month, please contact
us for more
details.
